Rolls-Royce Ghost gearbox hesitation – any decent specialists in Sharjah?
I've got a 2014 Ghost and the ZF 8 speed has started hesitating when pulling away from a stop, like a half second delay before the power comes in, and it's driving me crazy because the car used to be so smooth. The dealer in Dubai quoted a ridiculous amount just to run diagnostics, so I'm hoping to find a reputable independent shop in Sharjah that actually knows these heavy Rolls Royce systems. I stumbled across a page for a gearbox specialist online and wanted to Know More about their experience with these luxury cars before I make the trip, but I can't find any real customer reviews. Has anyone here had transmission work done on their Rolls or even a Bentley in Sharjah and been happy with the result? I don't mind paying fair prices, I just need someone who has the right software and won't experiment on my car. Any honest recommendations would be hugely appreciated.
